Last quick check in?
Hi all! J's nature class was today so I just dropped her off at dance late, and have five minutes left to blog. Perhaps this will be the last busy week for a while? I can't promise anything I suppose, but I know that at least the girls' dance time will be a break for me next week. Hopefully a longer post then! For now, just some pictures of our Holy Week and Easter.
Singing in some beautiful churches for me and M! This was Good Friday.
The morning after Good Friday ☝❤
Easter Vigil.
As exhausting as it all was, it felt like a weekend of dates with my honey, in which we shared funny moments of singing mishaps during the services, beautiful moments of great singing, and chit chats about all kinds of different topics on our drives to and from. I love that guy a lot.
I was so busy with singing and preparation that I forgot to look for the girls' Easter baskets in the storage area, and J was forced to use the trash can you see pictured above to set out for the Easter Bunny. Oopsie.
The girls made these lovely Easter eggs with Grandma and Grandpa who, having received their second dose of vaccine, were able to come for the weekend!!!
Takeout sushi for Easter dinner. Too tired to cook.
Such happiness!!!!!!
Egg hunting!
Easter Monday we went with G&G to the Museum of Science in Boston. There are timed tickets and everything was pretty COVID safe. The new Arctic exhibit was so awesome!!!
Big, smaller, and tiny chair! Perspective matters! :)
Loved the exhibit on exploration which included these models of ships throughout the ages, and a section on space exploration with scale models of lunar landers and space capsules. Cool!!!
Fun in the habitats exhibit!!
We ended up purchasing a membership and I'm really glad because there is just no way we could have covered everything there in one day. It's such a fantastic place!!!
That's it for today... hoping you all had a wonderful Easter weekend, if you celebrate!
