Abby: the Blogger
I am 39 years old. I live in Massachusetts with my husband of sixteen years and my four girls. I am a follower of Christ as well as a musician by trade-- a classical singer and Suzuki violin teacher. I bounce around between various musical gigs-- paid singing at church, private violin instruction, conducting, and teaching online classes. The rest of my time is spent being a mommy, keeping our home, and homeschooling. I'm keeping this blog as a "baby book" for my girls-- a record of milestones and moments I want to remember. I also use this corner of cyberspace to ramble on occasion about my own interests... which include running, cooking for my family, music, healthy eating, and frugality.
M: the Husband and Daddy
M is 40. He is a super smart musician with degrees in classical singing and choral conducting. (We met in college choir!) He is now works in education as an instructional technology specialist. He and I share interests in running, hiking, the outdoors, Star Wars, penny pinching, The Lord of the Rings, pancakes and waffles, The Back to the Future movies, J.S. Bach, Daft Punk, high-fiber health foods, and overall geeky stuff. Wow... is it any wonder we got married? I fell madly in love with him on one of our first dates when he said, "I want to be a good Dad someday... that's more important to me than anything." DINGDINGDING! We have a winner.
N: The Eldest
Crafty, dreamy, full of ideas. Thoughtful and has a big heart. Slow to think and decide. Helpful and quiet but has a very silly side that she shows to those she loves the most. A visionary. Future artist or violinist or dancer. Likes hot dogs, ice cream, avocados, Star Wars, and princesses. Dislikes dogs, bugs, having playtime interrupted, itchy skin, and waiting for her birthday.

L: the Younger
Task-oriented and quick. Intuitive. Observant. Passionate in all emotions. Talkative and hilarious with her family members and close friends. Outgoing in new situations. Future gymnast or singer. Extremely helpful and loyal. Likes running, mac n' cheese, Legos, Star Wars, Thomas, and her purple blanky. Dislikes bugs, having her hair brushed, scary music, water on her head, and grumpy librarians.

C: almost the youngest!
C is 9 years old. Easygoing and happy, but stubborn about a few select things. Sweet and excited about life. Timid and shy in most new situations. Likes books, drawing, coloring, sweet things to eat, wrestling with sisters, and being with Daddy. Dislikes strangers, the basement, most vegetables, band-aids, and name tags.

Baby J: the youngest!
J is 5 years old. Boisterous, happy, hilarious, and a glutton for attention. Likes chatting with family members, snuggling, drawing, and hanging out with her Dad. Dislikes being left alone for too long.
