My favorite weekend... and meal plan

The first weekend in March is one of my favorites of the year.  On Friday night we always have our preschool spaghetti supper

Always such a fun night!

This time, instead of attending on L's behalf, we went for our newest big preschool girl, Miss C.  It's still hard to believe she is preschool age!

Then the next morning we always kick off maple sugaring season with our local farm at their pancake breakfast.

After filling our bellies with pancakes we always tour the farm and visit the sugar shack.  It was a cold morning but we still had a great time!  As C remarked afterwards, it was "kinda cold, but kinda fun."

For the rest of the weekend we hung around and did our normal laundry, tidying, grocery shopping, church...

{In which I braid C's hair before church while she takes selfies}

There was something all over her face; methinks maybe chocolate?

J and I enjoyed a nap this afternoon; church just tuckered us both right out.

So sweet and snuggly.

Here's our meal plan... it's a short week because we are headed to D.C. on Friday!

breakfasts:
eggs, Ezekiel bread and fruit
smoothies

lunches:
noodle soup
finger food lunch-- pita chips & guac, veggies, hummus, fruit, nut butter
grilled cheese/pbj
Shaklee smoothies for Mama

snacks:
veggies (sweet peppers, carrots, cukes)
fruit (oranges, apples, pears)

suppers:
black bean soup with polenta
baked salmon over spaghetti squash with roasted sweet potato

Linking up with Laura... have a great week all!
