Week in Pictures
We made some bread for a blizzard on Monday as we began our week with a snowstorm. The girls all helped and it turned out delicious! We enjoyed it with homemade chowder for supper that night.
N made a Presidents Day Flip Book while L and C worked on some Valentines ones. Do you notice who also joined us at the table?
Baby J was pretty thrilled to get in on all the coloring action. She added a lot to the conversation as well. :) Doesn't she just look so proud of herself for sitting up like a big girl??
Of course since these two snowstorms have been our first significant snowfall this winter, the girls have enjoyed hours upon hours of sledding. This is the first year where they have been super content to just be outside together, just the three of them, sledding down our hill thousands of times over and over. Here's some footage I took from inside the window where baby J and I watch.
(Enjoying a warm slice of bread with cheeks rosy from the cold!)
On Shrove Tuesday we enjoyed a pancake supper at our church! Mardi Gras theme, of course.
So fun!
And just some pictures of my pretty girls.
We finished off the week with our girls' favorite baby-sitter coming so that M and I could enjoy a date night in celebration of Valentines Day.
It was wonderful.
C went to a preschool friend's birthday party today (a pirate party), and had a fabulous time. I found this selfie on my phone later
and, apparently, she decided to wear her pirate hat to bed, because this is how I found her when I came to tuck her in.
These little people are pretty awesome.
I'll be back tomorrow with the meal plan!
