Snapshots from our week

So, so, so, busy.  I'm longing to catch up with you all here, but there isn't time right now.  Soon, things will be calming down for us, and I'll be back.

A few quick pictures from our week:

 

A trip to Ocean State Job Lot to check out gardening and landscaping supplies.  We just priced things and didn't buy anything yet.  Although this week was wonderfully warm I know it's not quite time for planting yet.  And although M and I are both itching to get out and do some yardwork, it's such a busy time at work for both of us, and I know that neither of us have the time for that right now.  It's a good time for quick trips to the store to check prices, brainstorming and idea-forming, and just getting excited.  Nothing like a long winter to motivate you to enjoy the time outdoors.

 

We got our first watermelon of the season this week.  This was only the fourth of about twelve slices for L.  This girl can really put away the fruit!

 

Our library just got this DVD.  We would have checked it out but we already had too many DVDs.  Next time.  Totally.

 

C was still feeling under the weather and clingy so she opted to accompany me to my cardiologist's appointment on Monday, rather than stay home with Daddy.  I didn't mind.  Because we were close, C suggested we stop at the Crown Bakery on our way home.  And how could I refuse?

 

I may or may not have downed this entire cream puff on the way home.

Eating for two, right?  Ahem.
