Meal Plan
Hi all. Just quickly putting up our meal plan.
We had a great and restful weekend... the girls slept over with Grandma and M and I enjoyed the perfect blend of relaxation and productivity here. I am so blessed to have my Mom and Dad so close and so willing to host sleepovers, and the girls always adore a weekend at Grandma's. M and I spent a good portion of the weekend just talking through long-range plans for the house, renovation, painting, room shifting and space creating. It's hard to get your thoughts organized about those things when you rarely have 5 minutes to think, let alone have a husband-wifely conversation without being interrupted by little helpers. Anyway, it was great. We now have a kind of plan together for the summer and getting the house in better shape and spaces ready for our new little one.
I have been mildly sick for a week and feeling particularly stuffed up tonight despite the weekend of rest. That tends to be the way it goes when I'm pregnant-- sickness that I would normally get over in a couple days can drag on for a week or more. My body is busy with other things! So I will sign off for now, for the sake of finishing up the work in my class that I need to do, and getting in to bed early tonight.
Here's the meal plan...
Sunday breakfast: oatmeal
Sunday lunch: Ikea
Sunday supper: leftover enchiladas
Monday breakfast: dough boy smoothie for Mama
Monday lunch: on the road, picking up the girls
Monday supper: pulled pork in the crockpot, leftover mashed potato, fruit salad
Tuesday breakfast: soaked baked oatmeal
Tuesday lunch: packed sandwiches between activities
Tuesday supper: leftovers
Wednesday breakfast: leftover oatmeal bake or cold cereal
Wednesday lunch: egg salad
Wednesday supper: more leftovers (we have lots!)
Thursday breakfast: cold cereal or granola
Thursday lunch: with friends? or quesadillas at home
Thursday supper: homemade pizza (crust from the freezer) and mini flatbreads for girls
Friday breakfast: spelt/barley waffles
Friday lunch: Annie's mac and salad
Friday supper: at a party
Saturday breakfast: leftover waffles
Saturday lunch: various leftovers
Saturday supper: burgers or steak with oven fries
Enjoy the week!

| Loved this "smoothie in a bowl" idea! I'll be remembering this recipe! |
