Another Snow Day + Meal Plan
Whew! Busy day yesterday!
I woke up early for a run on the treadmill before heading out to do a Girl Scout cookie booth shift with N. After that we came home and had a few minutes to rest before heading out to a choir rehearsal for Auntie Bethie's wedding coming up next week! It was very fun-- I find it really cool that we can come up with a choir from among our family members, and cover all the parts. Good times!
Today there was snow in the forecast so we decided not to make the drive to church. It has been wonderful to have a rest day after yesterday's craziness. We've been tidying up, getting caught up on laundry, and the girls have been pretending their American Girls have broken legs and pushing them around in wheelchairs.
Oh, and Daddy made some delicious buckwheat waffles for breakfast...
As a friend of mine once said about her daughter's butter obsession: "Bread is just a vehicle for butter." {In this case, waffles are the vehicle.}
L was gazing out the window at the falling snow.
A very nice day! We hope yours was too!
