Check-in and meal plan
Greetings all.
It was a crazy weekend. But fun. Such is the life of a musician during the Christmas season.
It was Lessons and Carols at church last night, which meant long rehearsal Saturday morning, and the day spent in Boston yesterday for regular services in the morning and special service in the evening. The girls were with a sitter from 6 AM until 10 PM yesterday!! I missed them muchly. I brought my laptop and spent every moment in between services furiously grading. Similar to the way we spent the weekend last year, if you remember. These Christmas performances always fall at the busiest time of year for me, teaching-wise.
But like I said-- fun times. M sang a fantastic solo and the evening was filled with beautiful, meaningful music. I'm not complaining a bit!
But I've still got a LOT of work ahead of me grading this week. Final student projects get turned in tomorrow, plus a new batch of part-writing worksheets to grade (and sight-singing... and ear training... yada yada).
Homeschool may fall by the wayside a little this week. My girls probably won't mind a little break. :)
Must run, but here's the meal plan for the week:
Sunday breakfast: soaked baked oatmeal
Sunday lunch: sandwiches-- egg salad, chicken salad, turkey, or PBJ
Sunday supper: frozen pizza for girls, out for Mom & Dad

Enjoy the week!

The weekends this time of year are so full but full of lots of good things!
