a few quick ones (II)!!

Good Tuesday morning, all!

Just popping in on this last day of school before which I do not have to pack a lunch because it's a half day (woot!!!) to share a few quick ones from my camera roll for you.

I made this quick little mash-up of the videos from last weekend.  We saw friends on Saturday, sang happy birthday to L, and then went to Day Out with Thomas the next day.  A fabulously packed weekend, exhausting in the very best way.

(We had given M his Father's Day strawberry rhubarb pie and cards on Friday, and his new Death Star Tea Infuser came in the mail a few days later... ha!)

While we were with our good friends the Saturday of that weekend (all together, we have 8 children among three couples!) there was the much-anticipated playing of the "wake up" game... it's basically just aaalllll the kids piling on our friends' guest bed, and then one of them screaming, "WAKE UP!!!" and then they all get up and run away.

N has apparently taken as much of a shine to my new Dyson as I have:

 

C is often the first person to come and wake me up in the morning, and I don't know why, but I'm often so happy to see her cute little face and mussy hair that I reach for my phone and take a sleepy, grainy, out-of-focus picture.  It's a weird Mom thing, I guess...

N borrowed my phone and took this sweet montage of pictures of her handsome Daddy.  I love it.
