A beautiful day out

 I was instructed to make a circle cake, with a Thomas made of blueberries and a James made of strawberries.  Did I do okay?

 

 

I hope that M didn't feel too overshadowed by L's birthday on this Father's Day.  I know that the girls were super appreciative of the quality time they got to spend with him today.

 I could write pages and pages about how I think he's the cat's pajamas and the bees knees and all that.  And I have done that before, haven't I?  But it's worth repeating.  Our family wouldn't be what it is without his strength, servanthood, love, hard work, and leadership.  Our girls are blessed beyond belief to have him to guide and love them.  And I am blessed beyond belief to have him on my parenting team.  Quite spoiled, actually.  Rotten.

Thanks also to my own Dad, who modeled a father's love and servanthood so well my whole life.  With his example, I knew exactly what to look for in the man who would be the father of my children!  I'm so happy that he could spend the day with all of us today.
