makin' my list, checkin' it twice

(I wish.)

Eight Down:

1. Youth orchestra dress rehearsal conducted.
2. Solo at church sung.
3. Youth orchestra concert conducted.
4. Youth orchestra final rehearsal and party attended.
5. First chamber music session with student string quintet coached.
6. Second-to-last Tuesday of private lessons taught.
7. Christmas shopping (mostly) done.
(A big thank you to Grandma & Grandpa who took N and L for the weekend so that we could accomplish most of the things on the list above!)
8. Christmas cards sent.

Eight To Go:

1. Last Tuesday of private lessons to be taught.
2. Final student recital to be completed next week.
3. Two more Sundays of church music in which to participate.
4. Solo to be sung (and I still have to pick it!) on Christmas Eve.
5. A small bit of super-secret Christmas Crafting to complete.
6. Gifts to be wrapped.
7. House to be cleaned before Christmas guests arrive.
8. Catching up on all the laundry, grocery shopping, and general tidying I missed out on while busy doing all of the above.

How are you other musicians doing during this most busy concert season of the year?  What about others with to-do lists a mile long?  Can we make it through this?

YES WE CAN!

(Seriously, though, I'm having tons of fun.  It's good to be busy doing things you enjoy, isn't it?)
