Lovely

Last week my Mom took the girls for two days so I could steam-clean the carpets and accomplish a few other projects here at home.  Not only was it really nice to be so productive for a while, but I also managed to get some extra rest and M and I really enjoyed some time together, just the two of us.  We worked together on all our projects and had a nice date night as well.  It was a really lovely time.

Meanwhile, N was having her own lovely time doing her music scientist class at the children's museum with Grandma.  She got to do lots of sound experiments, try some instruments, and make a "telephone" out of a string and two cups.

L had a lovely time at the museum as well.

Then we all joined up at Grandma's house for a lovely weekend together.  We beat the heat by spending time in the pool and at the mall riding the carousel.
