Vitamin D

Today was the second sunny day we've had in... well... almost a month.  It was also finally warm enough to enjoy L's (early) birthday present from Grandma and Grandpa.  N was very patient as Mama spent about 30 minutes reading directions and periodically chasing after L to keep her from climbing cement stairs or eating mulch.  But at long last, I am proud to say I was successful at assembling the new sand and water table!

Since we didn't have any sand, and L would probably just eat it anyway, we filled the whole thing with water.  We also set up the inflatable giraffe pool from last summer.  What a fun, splashy time those girls had!  There was a constant stream of giggles coming from the yard.  I mostly just sat and soaked up some rays myself, and had fun watching them have fun.

I also forgot how hard they nap after a long morning playing out of doors.  L could barely stay awake as I changed her out of her swimsuit!!
