Today we woke up to a beautiful warm sunny day to welcome the month of April.
APRIL FOOL!
I couldn't help but feel Darth Vader's despair as I looked out the window this morning.
On a happier note, there is nothing better than waking up to find that your husband has done last night's dishes and emptied the trash. I think I may just be the luckiest girl in the world. Not all of our surprises this morning were unpleasant!
On a completely unrelated note, I have to record that L climbed the stairs yesterday. I had an idea that she wanted to the day before, when she grabbed her PJs and crawled over to the bottom of the stairs, pulled up to standing and waved bye-bye like she does when someone is carrying her up the stairs to go to bed. So... I guess I'll be figuring out where I packed away that bottom-of-the-stairs gate, and watching her like a hawk in the meantime.

My boy just discovered the stairs this weekend, too - I think our kids almost share a birthday, am I right?
