Quick Funny

 I have only three seconds of time right now, but I just had to write this one down before I forget it, because... well... it was just one of those funny kid sayings you don't want to forget.

I returned from my morning run with my friend this morning to find the girls playing Star Wars Barbies as is a common theme.  They were all in pjs and it was a Nature Class day meaning we had to leave the house by 8:30 AM... which probably sounds late to anyone with kids in public school, but in our homeschool luxury mornings are usually a bit more leisurely for us.

So I encouraged them to start finding breakfast and getting ready, and J without missing a beat replied, "But Senator Floppy Butt from Planet Vlah-di-doo is still making her speech!"

(Senator Floppy Butt?  Apparently?)

Priorities, right?  The speech of Senator Floppy Butt is way more important than making it to Nature Class on time.  How very silly of me.

This next one is not funny so much, but very cute, and I have been meaning to write it down for years.  J has called sneezes "lessyous" ever since she was old enough to talk... taking the word from "Bless you" which is, of course, what people say when you sneeze.  She uses it as a noun as well as a verb... i.e. "I just lessyoud three times!"  Of course now that she is 5 going on 6 she knows that the actual word is sneeze and usually she says the correct word, but every once in a while I still hear her say "lessyou".  Just had to write it down before she gets so big that she's not saying it anymore, and I forget about it.  You Mamas understand that, right?
