First Day Last Day

It was our first official day of summer today-- the girls' last day of school was Wednesday.

We took a picture on the last day, to compare it to the first.

Here's the first day, September 2, 2018:

It has been such a year and there's a lot I could say about it, but for now I'll just say that I'm so proud of how much they have all accomplished and grown.

Today, our first day at home, was vegging out with lots of yummy food (L made us unicorn pancakes):

and watching some old family movies along with Mary Poppins Returns.  It was rainy all day and a great day to just be lazy, stay in pjs, and celebrate a long year of hard work and early mornings behind us.

Hoping to write more about our year later, but for now I'm tired!  Happy beginning of summer to you all!f
