Well hello!

Hey there, friends... sorry about the long absence.  Life is busy as usual!

The end of summer saw us hurrying to finish up all of the things that we wanted to get done before school started, while Dad was still home every day (bliss).  Then of course, September hit with the start of all the things.  But really, our schedule isn't too terrible this year, and my husband reminds me frequently that we need to keep it that way. ;-}   I think M witnessed me sort of killing myself this last school year and so lately my tendency to over-commit has been kept in check very well by his gentle and sensible reigning-in, and for that I am thankful.  We have enjoyed many empty afternoons and weekends as a result.  Wellll... when you have a four little ones, afternoons and weekends are never really empty, but you know what I mean.  We chickens are keeping our proverbial heads and that's great.

I can already hear my baby girl singing sweetly in her crib (I love that she sings so much! and my baby is no longer a baby! two years old in just a couple days!) so I'll just share a few quick pictures of what we've been up to, and then I must leave you.  Rest assured I long to catch up, not just on events but on thoughts and feelings as well, so I will try to make time for that soon.
