Updates, Part 2
On with the updates!
The Thursday before Memorial Day we attended C's preschool graduation.
(We brought some coconut ice cream for J in that cooler)
It is blowing my mind that C is now officially a kindergartener. How did this happen???
Her little "show" was very cute as usual, and we heard many great songs and saw lots of her artwork. Her teachers teared up (and I did, too!) describing what a special group of kiddos were in her class, and I wholeheartedly agree. We have plans to get together with some families over the summer because C sure will miss her little classmates. She has grown up so much and gained so much confidence in these two years and I couldn't be prouder!
I think I have mentioned this before, but J LOVES to "dah" so much! Grandma H. brought us a coffee can full of the nice fat toddler crayons and J was just in heaven. It's nice to have something that will keep her busy for more than five minutes!! As you can see she likes to make lots of circles and is not too discerning about which surfaces she colors on, so she has to be in a seat or there will be scribbles everywhere. I'm also having a hard time getting the big girls to keep crayons, markers, and pens picked up off the floor throughout the house... when J finds those it's scribble scribble all over the closest flat surface. So there's a down side, I have to admit, but it is fun to see the little artist budding in her!
Memorial Day weekend we spent in CT. Much fun was had!
L had the first of her birthday celebrations!
It had been so long since we had just done nothing for a few days, and it was simply lovely. Much thanks and love to my Mom and Dad who hosted and fed us like kings in the midst of a busy time trying to sell their house.
And that's all the time I have for today, but believe it or not there are more updates to come! Stay tuned for part 3!
