Just popping in...
...to share with you some of the many faces of Miss J.
There's the tomato soup goatee.
And the oatmeal and almond butter warpaint.
There's the happy face on the swing with the Pirate's Booty:
...and the open-mouthed joy of running through the backyard on one of the rare sunny days in the past few weeks.
She doesn't usually pause long enough for me to get a *really* good picture, but the ones I get are cute enough, I think. This happy girl brings such joy to our days!

She's so cute! Thanks for your comment on my closet post. I definitely recommend the project for high satisfaction in a small space! As for keeping the littlest busy, I mostly just tried to focus on what I could do I the 45 mins or so that he can stay reasonably amused, and would let him walk around with my screwdriver or other novel and interesting pieces I was using. Any siblings on hand to play with are always good. Painting, however, has to be at nap time. That is just more frustration than I can handle. Really though, this was all pretty quick work, and things like the popcorn ceiling removal only took about 15 minutes of messy work and I snuck that in during Daniel Tiger :) I've also loved reading your curriculum posts. I still kinda want to homeschool my kids, depends on what day of the week it is. But how do YOU accomplish so much with the big girls with a toddler on hand? I don't see how I could do it!
