St. Patrick's Day Festivities

Yesterday was a fun little day of celebrating!

Leprechaun traps were set (I took these photos after the leprechaun had already come and left a trail of candy)...

The signs read "glitter here" and "1 4 leef clover each thing" (as in, leave a 4-leaf clover for each ball of foil you take)... N's trap.

Above is the trap the girls set on J's behalf.

L's trap... again, the sign reads "glitter here"

C's trap... slide down the paintbrush and get the glitter, leprechaun!

Each girl had a different idea for how to trap the leprechaun.  Pretty cute.

We had corned beef, boiled vegetables, and Irish soda bread for supper:

...and Lucky Charms for dessert.

(as L put it, "Lucky Charms are a once-in-a-while food!")

This cutie wore her four-leaf clover pajamas.

She has been sitting at the table with us for mealtimes in her "hippo seat"; no solid foods yet, but she enjoys conversing with us while we eat.  I took this cute video of her last night as we enjoyed our Irish supper:

...which reminds me very much of a similar video of big sister L when she was almost exactly the same age:

While I'm posting videos, here is some footage of two of J's favorite things to do right now-- rolling from tummy to back, and pushing up her bum from a laying down position.  I just love all of her new tricks!

I hope you all enjoyed the day!
