Quick check-in

Hi everyone!

Just a quick check-in.  Girls are having quiet time and I should be packing us for my little brother's wedding this weekend (yayyyyyyyyy so excited!) but I'm taking some time to sit and blog for a minute.

It has been hot this week.  HOT.

Being hot and 38 weeks pregnant is not fun.  Just sayin'.

The weather has officially turned today, though, and my mood is 100% improved.

So at my 36-week appointment I was just shy of 1 centimeter dilated, and contractions are getting longer and stronger lately.  I'm feeling like labor is probably close, but not immediately on the horizon.  Not that one can really predict these things.

I'm SO excited to meet our baby girl.  It's just going to be the greatest to finally see her!  At the same time, despite feeling uncomfortable, I'm a little sad that these are my last weeks of pregnancy, ever.  It's just such a miracle and I'm trying to savor it as much as I can.

Nothing really earth shattering to report.  I actually just spent the majority of my blogging time here updating the "About Our Family" page on the blog-- finally added a pregnancy ticker, now that there's only two weeks left!  Check it out if you have the time!
