Labor Day Meal Plan
Labor Day. Ha. You can guess how many jokes about that were made around here.
And the answer is no, I did not go into labor on Labor Day. Still pregnant!!!
We did have a lovely weekend, though. My sweet parents offered to take the girls for a night-- M and I had been wanting a date for a little while. We met at OSV Saturday afternoon and the girls had a sleepover at Grandma's after that.
M and I had a date night Saturday night-- we traditionally have a last-minute date to make a final decision on baby's name. I won't say that we are 100% decided, but we now have three firm finalists. We will probably end up deciding what she looks like when we meet her!
Before the girls came home Sunday night M and I did some final organizing and re-arranging in the house, and I did some general cleaning. M got tons of planning work done for his youth group job. We also watched Far From the Madding Crowd. I'm still trying to figure out whether I really enjoyed it... the heroine wasn't very likeable IMO.
Yesterday we did school and then I took the girls to Babies R' Us... they are having the great car seat trade-up! Go ye and get a major discount on a new car seat if you need one! We had two old expired car seats to trade in and we got a $40 discount on a brand new one for littlest girl. Score! The girls also enjoyed all of The Force Awakens stuff...
The front door was rigged so we heard a lightsaber noise every time we came in. Pretty exciting. Man, I tell ya... merchandising!
Here's hoping your weekend was relaxing too.
