Meal plan for a hot week

Good morning all!

We start school today so I can't stay long here, but I just need to put our meal plan up while I have my coffee.  Here's a few random pictures to go with it:

Our meal plan is pretty simple this week.  It's going to be HOT.  Basically I have only planned to cook one night, and it will be in the crockpot.  Luckily we have lots of leftovers in the freezer right now that can easily be warmed.

I have not been handling the heat well lately-- I was telling M yesterday that there must be such thing as a "pregnancy heat index"... all temperatures feel at least five degrees warmer to the pregnant person.  And so in preparation for this week of 90-degree temps, M has put one of our air conditioning window units into the living room, so we won't have to sweat while we do school this week.  It was soooooo nice sitting right in front of the AC while I folded laundry last night.  :)  Thanks honey!

Sunday breakfast:  soaked baked oatmeal
Sunday lunch: at OSV
Sunday supper: leftovers

Monday breakfast: cold cereal or leftover oatmeal bake
Monday lunch: sandwiches
Monday supper: taco night with Bethie and Adam

Tuesday breakfast: scrambled eggs
Tuesday lunch: more sandwiches
Tuesday supper: leftovers

Wednesday breakfast: overnight oats
Wednesday lunch: more sandwiches
Wednesday supper: broccoli cheddar soup and oyster crackers

Thursday breakfast: frozen waffles
Thursday lunch: more sandwiches
Thursday supper: mushroom kale lasagna from the freezer, frozen pizza for the kids

Friday breakfast: cold cereal
Friday lunch: more sandwiches
Friday supper: leftovers

Saturday: leftovers all day
