Monday Meal Plan and Quick Trip Recap

Good morning readers!

We are coming off a wonderful weekend with our friends on the Cape.  It was a relaxing time of fun, food, chatting, and beaching.  Most of you saw my pictures on Google+ but I'll post them here again for those who didn't.


(M had forgotten a sweatshirt and temperatures were predicted to dip in the afternoon Saturday, so I picked him up a parrot sweatshirt that said "Relax" at the drugstore for $6.  He says he's going to wear it to work soon.  HA!)











Although the girls all "slept in" until 7 this morning thanks to all the sun and sand this weekend, they are now up and needing exercise so I must run... here's the meal plan for the week!
 
Sunday breakfast: on the Cape!
Sunday lunch: sandwiches in the car
Sunday supper: veggie burgers, all-natural hot dogs, and oven fries

Monday breakfast: protein pancakes
Monday lunch: grilled turkey & cheese; fruit
Monday supper: teryaki tofu, brown rice, tomato/basil/mozzarella salad

Tuesday breakfast: leftover protein pancakes
Tuesday lunch: turkey roll-ups, yogurt & fruit
Tuesday supper: leftovers

Wednesday breakfast: slow cooker steel cut oats
Wednesday lunch: broccoli soup from the freezer
Wednesday supper: monterey beans and rice

Thursday breakfast: leftover steel cut oats
Thursday lunch: quesadillas and smoothies
Thursday supper: leftovers

Friday breakfast: popovers or eggs
Friday lunch: various leftovers
Friday supper: salmon quinoa salad

Saturday breakfast: basic waffles
Saturday lunch and supper: more leftovers
