Shower, Weekend, & Meal Plan
Happy Monday everybody!
Quickly popping in to put up our meal plan. It was a busy day yesterday as we went straight from church to Auntie Bethie's bridal shower!!
The girls had a fabulous time, and got the privilege of being Auntie Bethie's "helpers" opening all of her gifts. It was a great afternoon spent celebrating our dear Auntie. We can't wait for the wedding in a few weeks!!
Here's what we did for the rest of the weekend:
Saturday snowstorm
bone broth simmering in the crockpot all day Saturday filled our house with delicious smells
hurrying to church early Sunday morning while the sun rose over a snow-covered world
braving the pre-blizzard lines at Market Basket (we're getting 20 or more inches of snow on Tuesday!)

Sunday breakfast: popovers
Sunday lunch: sandwiches and salads in the car on the way home from church
Sunday Supper: at Auntie Bethie's bridal shower
Monday breakfast: leftover popovers and poached eggs
Monday lunch: quesadillas and smoothies
Monday supper: tuscan style potato soup (didn't get to this last week!)
Tuesday breakfast: smoothies and toast
Tuesday lunch: hummus roll-ups, cukes and carrots
Tuesday supper: leftovers
Wednesday breakfast: cinnamon protein pancakes
Wednesday lunch: fruit and yogurt dip, veggies & hummus
Wednesday supper: chicken noodle soup (didn't get to this last week either!)
Thursday breakfast: soaked baked oatmeal
Thursday lunch: Annie's mac for kids, salads for grown-ups
Thursday supper: leftovers
Friday breakfast: leftover baked oatmeal or cold cereal
Friday lunch: egg salad lettuce wraps
Friday supper: on the road... kids are going to Grandma's for the weekend, and Mama and Daddy are going to a church retreat!


Did you end up getting that much snow? They were predicting the same for us, but we only got a few inches. Grocery stores always get crazy!!
