Climbing Ice Mountain

A strange twist of weather this weekend during which there was a torrential downpour Sunday evening followed by plunging temperatures and a deep freeze Sunday night created what the girls have been referring to as "ice mountain" along our side yard.

 

Tuesday is a busy day for all three girls with school things and activities, and although it was all very fun, these girls were just counting down the minutes until we could get back outside and "climb up ice mountain" just as we did for a large part of the afternoon on Monday.

They climbed, and they slid, and much fun was had.

 And then when Daddy got home, things became even more fun!

It always makes me smile when these girls get so many hours of enjoyment out of something so simple.
