Meal plan for the week!

Phew.  What a busy weekend!

I did music theory grading most of the day yesterday... counterpoint is only slightly less tedious to grade than chorale writing, which I have to look forward to next week!  But I do enjoy my job, and hey, I get to be home with my girls and grade that counterpoint in my pjs, so I can't really complain.

I played violin in our church orchestra this morning, which was really fun because I haven't played in a while, but it also meant that we had to arrive early and stay late.  We went straight from church to a local production of the Nutcracker in which a good friend of the girls was performing.  I still wasn't finished with my grading so I've been doing that for the rest of the day.

Oh, and N lost the other one of her front teeth:

(Please ignore the leftovers on the counter and unfolded clean laundry in the background.  It has been a workin' weekend for Mama; what can I say?)

Could we squeeze many more big events into one weekend?  I think not!

So right now I'm off to relax and watch Death Comes to Pemberly (you gotta watch it if you're a Jane Austen fan!!!!  So good!!!) but first, the meal plan:

Sunday breakfast: soaked baked oatmeal
Sunday lunch: sandwiches and salads in the car on the way home from church
Sunday supper: leftovers

Monday breakfast: leftover baked oatmeal
Monday lunch: grilled cheese and avocado; fresh fruit
Monday supper: fish tacos

Tuesday breakfast: popovers
Tuesday lunch: quesadillas, grapes and smoothies (our go-to lunch for L's lunch bunch day at preschool!)
Tuesday supper: chicken sausages with sauerkraut; roasted sweet potatoes (or casserole if I get the time to make it)

Wednesday breakfast: crockpot steel cut oats
Wednesday lunch: at Grandma's
Wednesday supper: leftovers

Thursday breakfast: leftover crockpot oats or banana blueberry smoothies

Enjoy the week!
