Race Day Photos: Sloppy, Wet and Unattractive...

...but I'm posting them anyway.  It's all about the memories, right?

Pre-race coffee in the car... waiting until the very last minute to head out into the rain.

Starting line selfie... already pretty wet.  But excited!

They had an inflatable arch and a chip timing mat at the halfway point.  I've never run a race with a mat at any other point than the finish!  It was cool.  Tall guy in front of me hit the sign.

Medal received.

We headed straight for the car and changed into dry clothes with the heat blasting.  Smiling 'cause we did it.

I took this picture from my bed as I had an afternoon rest while the girls napped.  The sun was beginning to peek out, around 3 PM.  It turned into a beautiful evening!

It really was a fun race despite the weather.  Recap to follow shortly... right now my brain don't work good.  Bed, here I come.
