Meal plan pre-travel
Happy Sunday everyone!
Thank you so much to everyone who sent cards, presents, text messages, and emails with well-wishes for our little L. She is doing so much better now and is really back to her cheerful self. She felt well enough to come to church this morning and has not had to take any pain medication since Friday.
It's been a crazy week, needless to say, and caffeine has been my best friend, but I'm finally beginning to feel caught up on rest.
I don't have any pictures to show for the week, but here's us waiting for Harold and the Purple Crayon to start, last Sunday. I mentioned it in last week's post. What a fun day that was!
Sunday breakfast: soaked baked oatmeal
Sunday lunch: PBJs in the car on the way home from church
Sunday supper: leftover spaghetti
Monday breakfast: leftover oatmeal bake
Monday lunch: scrambled eggs and fresh fruit
Monday supper: peanut chicken in the crockpot, served with soba noodles & steamed veggies
Tuesday breakfast: smoothies and popovers
Tuesday lunch: cheese quesadillas and fruit cups (lunch bunch for L); green salad for grown-ups
Tuesday supper: chicken sausages, sauerkraut, peppers, onions & mashed potato
Wednesday breakfast: steel cut oats in the crockpot
