The auto-awesomeness of our weekend
This weekend we celebrated my Mom's 60th birthday in Philadelphia, a good halfway point for our family between my brothers and sister who live in the DC area.
It was such a lovely weekend, and we all wished we could have had about another week together, but we're grateful that we were all able to be there in the midst of busy work and life schedules. It was so great to take some time to celebrate our wonderful Momma.
Just quickly sharing a few pictures from the weekend before we start our day here!
(As you can tell, I'm sort of addicted to taking thousands of pictures in quick succession so that google will make an auto awesome gif for me. It's tons of fun. You should try it.)

There was lots of pool swimming, birthday cake eating, hot hotel breakfast enjoying, and other festivities that I didn't photograph. (Fam, email me your pics! :)
There was also a quick trip out to a local homemade ice cream bar after the kiddos bedtime that was a wonderful break for Mommy (thanks to Daddy for staying with sleeping girls at the hotel)!
The girls had a blast and were well-behaved and patient for the most part, and when they weren't, my family was very patient with our needs to get them back to the hotel for naps and otherwise keep them well-fed and rested. Thanks everyone!
It was a great time. Let's do it again next year!!

I agree, it was a wonderful weekend, but too short!!
ReplyDeleteI put all my pix from the weekend up on G+. Let me know if you want copies of any. XOXO
