Tricks or Treats (only comes once a year)

... and it was pouring rain for most of the evening.

So, we opted for mall trick-or-treating.

It was pretty packed, because everyone in town had the same idea, and so a lot of stores ran out of candy before we even arrived.

(Secretly, I'm kind of glad because that means a smaller candy stash and a shorter amount of time that the sugar will wreak havoc on everyone's mood.)

Auntie Bethie joined us for the second year in a row and we had a blast (Star Wars pun intended)!

N was the perfect Princess Leia; the pictures don't really do justice to the costume I think.  It's hard to get the full effect of her handmade hair buns.  :)

And although Darth Vader couldn't see with her mask on and therefore didn't wear it for most of the night, she was still a great Sith.  And Yoda was adorable as always.
