The same day that the girls became interested in The Magic Flute (they saw me googling the Queen of the Night aria for my last Jumbled Up post, and started asking questions about the rest of the story) our latest Kiwi Crate arrived, and guess what one of the crafts was?  A bird costume.  So N was able to dress up as Papagena for our viewing of the opera on YouTube that evening (at the girls' request).  We didn't finish the whole thing before bedtime, since it's 2.5 hours long, but they got to see most of the best scenes, and we did fast-forward to the Papageno/Papagena duet at the very end, of course.
