Valentine's Recap
This year Valentine's Day was a really fun and festive day for all of the girls.

L got invited to a Valentines Day party hosted by her little friend S that we met at library story time. We went while N was at school, and L and C had a great time playing dress-up and balloon games, and putting together Valentines Day goody bags and stickers with their friends. Mommy had a great time drinking coffee and chatting with all the other Mommies.
When we returned home both L and C enjoyed long naps while N opened all of her Valentines from her classmates.
(She got a heart stamper from one of her friends. She dubbed it "tattoo" and decorated her face-- and mine-- with it.)
We hit the jackpot when the mail came and the girls got lots of lovely Valentines from friends and family, a candy- and prize-filled package from our realtor, and our Kiwi Crate all in one day.
The girls all enjoyed opening their cards...

And C tried her first Hershey's Kiss:
(which met with approval, of course)
After the kiddos went to bed, M and I snuggled up and re-lived our high school days by watching grunge music videos from the '90s on YouTube (and subsequently watching the Weird Al versions of each video). Not exactly a hot date, but we had some good laughs!
It was a good day!
