Let's Go Fly a Kite!
This morning N was doodling at breakfast, and she drew this picture:
Her description: "It's me and my friend Jeremiah flying kites. He's flying the green one and I'm flying the pink one." Then she asked, "Could we fly my Yoda kite today?" I checked the forecast and it called for a blustery spring day. And so, we did.
We hiked out to an open, marshy area.
L insisted "I hold kite, Mama." She carried it the whole way.
N said, "I want to hold Daddy's hand!"

Lovely apple blossoms on our hike
Scoping out the area
We found the right spot and I pried the kite away from L to open it up.
After some last-minute kite fixing, we were ready.
One...
Two...
Three!!!

N took a few turns holding the kite too.
We reeled the string in a little closer so that L could take a turn.
N says: "I'm worn out!!... Don't take my picture, Mama."

We love Strawberry Hill! We were just there last Sunday. Looks like a great time!
