"I did it!!!"
That's one of L's favorite phrases right now, and I think it's quite appropriate to be using it at the end of this day. Or rather, God did it.
It was a trying day. And a trying night last night. I won't go into details, but let's just say it took a lot of prayer to get through this day smiling. But I did. Praise God-- there's no way I could have done it without His help.
I get the feeling that God is preparing me to be utterly humbled and totally reliant on Him when this new baby comes. I hope I have the courage to let go of my expectations and worries, and just rest in His help and grace.
Meanwhile, I'm savoring my last weeks as a Mommy of two (while saving up plenty of cuddles for new little baby too)... and two sweet girls they are.
I found these canoe pictures that were taken by Grandpa over Columbus Day weekend. Enjoy!
