Introducing Cutie Pie

Well, it looks like I won't be changing the name of this blog!  Check out this little Cutie Pie:

And no, I won't be posting pictures of her girly parts on the internet, although we do have them.  Trust me, the proof is there--take this from a Mama who has seen girly parts on an ultrasound screen a total of three times now.  M is preparing to be seriously outnumbered.  Here are some of her other adorable "first" photographs:

Of course, the foot picture is always my favorite.  So cute!  If you look closely you can see two sets of toes and her leg behind them.

Baby girl clothes... check.  Baby girl toys... check.  Knowledge of parenting a girl up through preschool age... check.  Enough bathroom space for three teenage girls to primp... uh... I'll get back to you on that one.

And so it begins... the name game.  This was always a long, difficult decision for me and M.  Although I did have a dream almost immediately after we found out I was pregnant in which the baby was a girl-- and the name from that dream has stuck with me ever since.  I will not reveal it yet as it has not been officially approved by my other half.  For now, I'll just keep calling her Cutie Pie, or CP, since that's all I can think of whenever I look at these pictures.  Don't you agree?

**A couple of things I forgot to mention when I posted this earlier.  The baby is measuring 9 inches long and 9 ounces, which is right on track for growth.  Hooray!  I also think I forgot to really say how thrilled both M and I are that we're having a girl.  Luckily, M is no Henry VII.  If so, I'd probably be beheaded by now.  :-)
