Thursday already?

It's been one of those weeks... well, two weeks really... that has just flown by.  Lots of errands to run, phone calls to make and things to accomplish.  Here's the main thing that's been keeping us busy (drumroll please):

Out with the old...

... and in with the new!

Yes that's right, my status as a (future) soccer mom has been made official by our purchase of a minivan. But seriously, it's a pretty nice ride... nicer than anything I've ever owned, anyway.  It's used, and the miles are a bit high (this is how we could afford it) but we're putting our faith in Honda craftsmanship and hoping it will last us a little while.  We had a pretty busy 3-4 days surrounding the purchase doing all of the necessary negotiation, registration transfer, financial stuff, inspection, etc. etc. all with two (very patient) girls in tow.

Other than that, we've been having some play dates, attending some library story time, and catching up on laundry from the vacation.

I'll just share these great pictures of our lovely Easter Sunday spent with Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Beth.  Thanks to my father's wonderful photography skills, the images speak much louder than my words could.

N, the experienced elder, showing L the ropes

Grandpa and L in the bonnet we brought her from Williamsburg

L's favorite activity: walking (assisted, of course)

She's a high stepper.  I really should get it on video.

Color-coordinated outfits from Grandma

L shows off her patty-cake skills

N is getting quite adept at riding her Princess bike from Santa

It was a gorgeous day!

Easter hula hoops from Aunt Beth

(Side note: our trip to Williamsburg was lovely, educational, and refreshing.  The girls did great with Grandma and Grandpa, which made me very proud and happy.  I'm so thankful to them for giving us that time.)
