N: The Forgetful Elephant
Speaking of forgetful, I meant to include this in my last post... but I guess you'll get two posts from me today!
Most of the time, I'm really impressed my N's memory. Like this morning, I was making crepes and N was standing on a chair next to me at the counter, "helping" as she usually does. She was perusing my spice rack and selecting different spices, asking if she could smell them. She does this quite often too. While I was absorbed in my cooking at one point, N said to me, "Here's the rosemary, Mama." I looked up and lo and behold, she was handing me the rosemary. I don't even remember telling her the name of rosemary, but I must have at one point, and she remembered it.
However, she seems to be having trouble lately when it comes to remembering Tinkerbell's name. Usually when we're watching Cinderella (one of her favorites) and the Disney logo comes up at the beginning of the movie, and Tinkerbell flies through and touches the top of the castle with her magic wand, N will say "I saw Tinkerbell!!" But the other day, she said "There's Tinker... Tinker... Tinkerfly. I saw Tinkerfly, Mama." And this morning she was running around the house, shouting, "I'm Tinkerfly! I'm Tinkerfly!" I don't know why, but I find the word "Tinkerfly" really hilarious. So I shared it with you. There you go!

It's obvious the Force was strong at the party! Wish we could have been there. There is nothing I like better than Yoda pizza with a side of slimy Cheerios! Gramma said the cake looked yummy, too! Maybe we can make it next year.
